TRE Workshop – Intro to Tension/Trauma Release Exercises

with Tammy, October 8, 2017

Following the success of our previous TRE workshop in August, Tammy will be returning once again to New Life to offer this wonderful introduction to our community.

The Intro to TRE Workshop is a 4-hour long workshop exploring trauma, how it is created and stored in our bodies and how we can use TRE as a tool to release it.

What is TRE ?

TRE® (tension-trauma releasing exercises) is a simple technique that creates a natural response for your body to remove blocks deep within your cellular level. This happens by inducing the bodies natural shaking response through a series of exercises. TRE is highly effective, therapeutic, and relaxing.

About the Workshop

This 4-hour workshop will be a balance of lecture, process and sharing. It will provide a thorough understanding of how trauma is carried in our bodies and explain why TRE is an effective tool to help release stress and tension through tremoring. No fitness level is required.

  • Understanding the different types of stress and trauma that we experience
  • The role of the PSOAS muscle
  • Re-patterning to heal naturally
  • The science of TRE
  • Self-regulation and being present during TRE
  • The practice of relaxation and letting go
