This eight-session MBSR course with one full day of practice will be offered over a 11-night stay. It is highly experiential and student-centered in approach. The advantage of undertaking this course at New Life is you will have the support of a mindfulness based community while doing this.
I didn’t know what ‘burnout’ was until I came to New Life. I didn’t really think it was anything at all. Maybe it meant being overly stressed, or perhaps it was a weak person’s syndrome, or even a euphemism for not being able to cope. (…) By now I know that I need rest. I came to New Life to find some direction in my life. My favorite part was learning about the enneagram and understanding my personality type better, what makes me tick and my traits. I had never heard about the enneagram before, just the Meyers Briggs system. The enneagram went into more detail about childhood behavior and gave more insight into a career path.
