12 Steps and Group Sharing
Several times a week there are Buddhist recovery meetings, speaker’s meetings, and group discussions for the residents. The goal of these group sessions is to learn from each other by confronting, supporting and sharing with each other in our recovery. In these group sessions we will have silent meditation as well as a discussion about how spirituality and mindfulness can aid us in our recovery. We share about our past, explore our past karma and open up about our feelings and traumas.
The group sessions are also a good opportunity to share about our values and what gives meaning to our lives. There are also opportunities to join 12-steps meetings in Chiang Rai city.
