New Life Foundation is pleased to announce that we are looking for a new Program Director to join our team.
The Program Director oversees the coordination and administration of our entire mindful therapeutic program. In addition to performing a life coaching role and facilitating workshops, you will be managing a team of 7-10 staff including counsellors, therapists, meditation and yoga teachers, and retreat and workshop facilitators.
The position will also involve networking and program development activities to expand the Foundation’s outreach; overseeing and contributing to the daily resident workshop syllabus; planning special retreats and workshops; supporting the Managing Director in some operational aspects of running the Foundation; mentoring and managing the foundation’s therapeutic staff to maintain a high standard of program delivery; consulting on the intake process; liaising with partners and clients where necessary; and leading conflict resolution and crises intervention processes.
This is a very senior role that would suit an experienced, outgoing individual with a strong therapeutic background (modality open), excellent leadership, communication, and people-management skills, and extensive experience in team management. You will ideally have your own long-standing meditation or mindfulness practice, be familiar with a wide range of therapeutic approaches, and enthusiastic about learning about new ones. You will also have a clear understanding of the mission and goals of the Foundation. Outstanding candidates will be passionate about community living and serving in the nonprofit healing and recovery field. The role is full-time with some overtime required and will report directly to the Managing Director.

Minimum commitment 2 years.
