Become a volunteer

At New Life I got a good introduction to yoga and meditation, we all learn something from each other at New Life: staff, residents, volunteers… And all the work is done with love. It’s truly a community with a good mix of people. Great atmosphere, fantastic environment.

Our volunteer program

The New Life Foundation offers a wide variety of possibilities for volunteers to help and put their skills into practice. It is a great way to get some practical experience with sustainable agricultureyoga and meditationbuilding mud (adobe) houses, massage therapy, preparing Thai meals and more. We are always looking for motivated people to help us with marketing and social media, spreading the word about our project is one of the biggest challenges we face right now.

At New Life you can help others less fortunate and eager to learn and find a new way of life. You can enjoy the tranquility of the foundation and take the opportunity to take part in other workshops and activities. The New Life Foundation offers a warm environment where everyone eats together and you get to experience true local food. We provide individual rooms with private bathrooms and three meals a day.  We also have a pool and steam bath available for everyone’s enjoyment.

There are yoga, tai chi and meditation classes every morning (6 am – 7 am) and every evening (4 pm – 5 pm; 5 pm – 6 pm), which the volunteers can attend. There is also a possibility to do enneagram work with a professional coach. Join us to help develop this wonderful project!

Our main mission is to provide our recovery program those who are suffering for the cheapest price possible.  In order for us to be able to continue providing our services we kindly ask you to pay for the costs of electricity and food, and for the teachings provided during the day:

Testimonials from our volunteers

“Thank you for making my first WWOOFing experience a great one! I really enjoyed my time there- the wonderful community, the peaceful environment, and doing various tasks (cooking, cleaning, shoveling, hoeing, picking veggies, chopping). Learning about natural farming was also really interesting. You are all awesome!!”
-Tammy Hayano

“I passed 3 weeks here and the first word that comes to my mind is thank you. Thank you to the staff for your kindness, your energy, your patience, and your open mind. Thanks also to the residents, because I learned a lot by living with you the past weeks. The time passed here has been a great experience of life for me, very human, and a beautiful lesson of patience, humility, wisdom… :-) Thanks for all the activities you propose, which are really great. I wish you all the best for the future, for the foundation and for all of you. Keep shining!”
-Clemence Levesque

“Hey, my name is Justine. I just spent 5 really nice days as a volunteer, in the “New Life foundation”, a marvelous place. I integrated myself to the program of the residents. I spend my time doing some farming (digging rows, planting melon, feeding pigs…), doing meditation, paintings, swimming (in the swimming pool, in a lake), visiting museums. I loved my time there.”
