New Life was the exact opposite of my life at home. The slow pace scared me. I thought everyone was mad, living in a dream bubble and there was nothing to be learned here. The New Life Foundation celebrated its 5th birthday last weekend. Unlike in Western culture, where it’s MY birthday so today is all about ME, New Life’s birthday celebrations were designed to give back to the Thai community that has so welcomed and accepted the foundation.
